Japanese tennis ace Naomi Osaka is gearing up to make a comeback on the tour after missing the action for over a year. The former World No.1 was out of the tour for a long while due to the birth of her first daughter. However, as Osaka became a mother around six months back, she is ready to make a comeback on the WTA tour.

Amid all the practice sessions she is holding to get in shape before she plays at the highest level, Osaka also took time to train with rapper YG’s (short for Young Gangsta) oldest daughter Harmony.

Naomi Osaka itching to step onto the court

While Naomi Osaka made an aspiring women’s tennis player’s (Harmony) day, the Japanese ace will be hoping to make her coming days as good as this. The former World No.1 has announced that she will return to professional tennis with Brisbane International and hence the anticipation has already begun.

Fans as well as experts are excited to see if this extended break has affected Osaka’s physical fitness or if the mental freshness after becoming a mom takes over all the other factors when she walks onto the court.

Osaka has set a few targets for herself in the 2024 season. The Japanese ace and four-time Grand Slam winner wants to add more Grand Slam titles to her tally. She also wants to better her records at the French Open and Wimbledon, where she is yet to win a title. The 26-year-old also has her eyes set on the 2024 Paris Olympics.

I definitely want to win more Grand Slams, with a focus on Roland-Garros and Wimbledon I guess and also compete in the Paris Olympics.
Naomi Osaka said about her aim in 2024.

While whether Osaka is able to fulfill her ambition to win more Grand Slam titles or not will be decided over time, watching the Japanese star rule the court will definitely be binge-worthy.
