Saudi Arabia, known for its various cultures and religions has always lagged when it came to the empowerment of women in their country. However, with a new initiative in mind, the country has established an integrated company for the betterment of women and to improve the quality of life for women.
Kayanee, a new brand created to achieve one goal of female empowerment before 2030 is set to focus on the health and lifestyle of the future generation through fitness and sportswear. The PIF-owned company welcomes tennis star Ons Jabeur as their global athletic ambassador. The Tunisian known for her decade-long deal with Lotto finally signed a new sponsorship deal and will be seen wearing and promoting the new brand.

Being one of the few women to advocate for Saudi Arabia and hope to bring the WTA to the country embarks on a new journey for the fitness brand. The Tunisian star said on the National news:
I am thrilled to be part of Kayanee, a brand-breaking new ground for women in Saudi Arabia and the region.

Jabeur also starred in the first Women’s professional tennis game in Saudi when she faced Aryna Sabalenka in an exhibition match.

The brand aiming to achieve new heights by the end of 2023 is chaired by Princess Reema Bandar Al Saud, who welcomed Jabeur with open arms. In a recent statement, the Princess praised Jabeur tagging her as the symbol of resilience and determination. In addition to this, Princess Reema reveals the plans of the brand which is not only about fitness but also to inspire women to pursue their dreams and seek their place in an international field.
Jabeur will enter the Australian Open seeded as No.6 and will wear her new brand. She will debut her kit at the Open. While many have already seen a glimpse of this at a photoshoot, they will see it live during her matches from now on. The 29-year-old has not registered for any pre-Slam events and will directly feature on the grand stage along with other big names. After coming extremely close to winning a Slam last year, the Tunisian will look to tick that off her bucket list this year.
