Australian tennis player Nick Kyrgios has always been a controversial figure in the tennis world for his free-will nature. He has now added fuel to the fire by penning down a deal with OnlyFans, a new-age social media platform that is pretty infamous for its sexually explicit content. His decision to join social media has come as a surprise for his fans and haters alike.
He made the news public by posting a picture of him wearing an OnlyFans-branded hoodie on X, with the caption:
It just got a whole lot crazier… join me on onlyfans! It’s free to subscribe for everyone! Everything from behind the scenes to on court and everyday life. See you all there. Link in bio.Nick Kyrgios on X

In a statement, Nick Kyrgios said that joining OnlyFans was a no-brainer for him as a ‘revolutionary’ social media platform that gives creators the ability to create, direct and own their content. He also said that in the modern age, it is not enough for athletes to just show up on the court but they need to be in touch with the fans online as well to maintain their popularity. As he has been in direct touch with his fans for many years now, the 2021 Wimbledon finalist thinks that he knows exactly what his fans want to see.
Talking about what content he will be posting, Kyrgios said:
Of course, there’ll be tennis balls involved, tips, tricks and behind the scenes, but also they’ll get to see all different sides of me. Gaming, tattoos, my intimate side – it’s all on the table and I’ll be bringing fans along for the ride!
Nick Kyrgios’ decision to join OnlyFans divides fans in opinions
While many fans support Nick Kyrgios’ decision to join OnlyFans, he is also receiving a lot of criticism from the tennis world, mostly regarding the ethical and moral factor of getting aligned with a social media platform that is usually known for adult content. Some of the trolls have been really harsh in their comments.

Many have even pointed out the hypocrisy of Nick Kyrgios, who, in the past, had shamed fellow Australian tennis player Bernard Tomic during their beef for making his debut on OnlyFans. To put things in context, Tomic was featured in an X-rated video on OnlyFans with Love Island contestant Vanessa Sierra.
Talking about the tennis side of things, Nick Kyrgios is currently an unranked player and he is missing from the Australian Open 2024 entry list as well. However, being a favourite in Melbourne, Kyrgios is expected to enter the tournament as a wildcard. He played only one match in 2023 at Stuttgart.
