Australian tennis star Nick Kyrgios has been trying hard to keep himself busy through talk shows and being a guest on several tennis channels. And yesterday, he had his work cut out when he was called on as a guest on a Piers Morgan talk show named Talk TV.
While Morgan kept asking about various aspects of Kyrgios’s life and his career, a very interesting conversation took place regarding a past incident in which they had common ground.
Way back in August, Morgan bashed American women’s team star Megan Rapinoe for her harsh behavior towards a fan during an award show. She was approached by a kid to sign a football, and while she gave her autograph, her actions led to Morgan and Kyrgios bashing her. Rapinoe never looked into the kid, nor did she have any conversation, and she acted too harshly on him.

Kyrgios retweeted that supporting Morgan writing:
Hahahahahaha one thing me and piers agree on.
Piers asked Kyrgios to comment on that incident and Kyrgios played the safe ball deciding not to go harshly on the American while Morgan called her a ‘spoilt betulent brat’.
Kyrgios added that the reason behind Rapinoe’s actions is not known by anyone, and neither does he have the right to judge her for her decisions. He further elaborated that there could be many things running through her mind that might have instigated those actions at that very moment. At last, he concluded by expressing his feelings for the boy, saying that he knows how a kid looks up to his idol and that they expect better.
Nick Kyrgios gave his views on his relationship with fans
Nick Kyrgios has always been a fan favorite for his impressive ability to keep the crowd going through his actions on the court. Be it discussing his services with fans on the front row or conversing with them about their Sunday plans, he has always been a man for the fans.
He talked about how he has been acting with his fans during the talk show with Piers Morgan.
Kyrgios said:
I'm not going to sit here and say I've been amazing to every fan I've ever signed a tennis ball for, or anything for. But, every time it's a young kid, I do my best to try and look involved because I used to be that person when I was young.
He further added:
I had my idols and when they signed tennis balls for me, I was always super excited, so I know the relevance and the importance of being present in those moments.
Kyrgios shared how he looked at every fan as himself when he was young. He further concluded by saying that the presence of fans in the life of a sportsman is the ultimate priority, and that is not something he would be taking for granted.
