Australian tennis star Nick Kyrgios has been quite busy recovering from the multiple injuries he has been suffering throughout the year. With his uncertainty persisting over the next season, he is trying to keep himself busy with various tennis shows and various interviews lately. Just a week ago, he was called up by American journalist Piers Morgan on his show as a guest.
Among various questions and debates, Piers Morgan chose to bring up pictures of Kyrgios as a kid when he was a lot chubbier. Morgan also brought up the words of Kyrgios’s old agent during their first meeting.

Kyrgios then took that as praise, saying that it is very hard to get compliments from him.

Then he talked about how his change down the years has been a major glow-up and he put all the credit to his dreams.
At last, Morgan even cross-examined him, saying that he didn’t talk about his looks and just that he had lost a lot of weight, with both of them having a nice laugh at the topic.
Nick Kyrgios reflects on the rumors about him giving up the sport
In the interview with Piers Morgan, Kyrgios was asked about his determination and interest in keeping on pursuing the sport. Morgan feels that Kyrgios has fallen loose on himself and is no longer the hungry professional he is used to being since making it to the finals of the Wimbledon Championships last year. Morgan asked:
Are you really gonna throw the towel in anytime soon?
Kyrgios then answered that he wants to be at the highest level as much as possible but doesn’t see himself going anywhere up the ranks shortly. He talked about only focusing on his mental health and strengthening his mindset.
His main aim and target for now is to focus on the next two or three Tours he will be participating in to bring himself in line.
