Ons Jabeur had a terrific run in the 2022 Wimbledon where she reached the final and lost to Elena Rybakina from Kazakhstan. Despite the loss, Jabeur had everyone on their feet following her excellent performances throughout the tournament. Her journey ended in the finals as she lost to Rybakina by 3-6, 6-2, 6-2.
Jabeur received immense commendation from former players and the fans alike, she put terrific displays of Tennis match after match on her journey to the finals and is fully deserving of the respect and fame she is getting now. She is currently ranked No. 1 in Tunisia and is the current world No. 2 in the women’s singles category ranked by the WTA.
