24-time Grand Slam title Champion Novak Djokovic is someone who is known for his wide range of shots along with excellent court coverage. No point can be won against the Serb without putting in an effort.

In the match against Tomas Etcheverry, Novak Djokovic pulled off a fabulous stretch shot to hit a backhand down the line to end an intense rally between the two at the Paris Masters. The stretching shot is considered to be one of the trademark shots of the 2023 US Open Champion, where he leans completely to one side in a Spider-Man pose and produces a winner from absolutely nowhere at all.

Novak Djokovic defeated Tomas Etcheverry in an easy straight-set victory, defeating him 6-2,6-2 to proceed to the round of 16 at the Paris Masters. The 7-time Wimbledon champion has returned to the Tour after winning the US Open earlier this year. The Serbian has won this tournament six times in his career and is looking in very good shape, so he can add another title to his name.

With that being said, the signature stretch shot by Novak Djokovic is something that he has been using regularly for years. It is a delight to the eyes to watch him slide towards the ball, stretch his entire body to reach for it, and hit a powerful shot unplayable to the opponent. His court coverage is something that sets him apart from the other players.

Novak Djokovic will most likely be at the top by year-end

After a series of shocking upsets at the Paris Masters, where Carlos Alcaraz and Daniil Medvedev were knocked out in the early stages of the tournament, it will be difficult for the Spaniard to reclaim his No. 1 position. The 2023 Wimbledon Champion lost his World No. 1 position to Novak Djokovic after losing out to Daniil Medvedev in the semi-finals of the US Open earlier this year.

Novak Djokovic is 500 points ahead of the Spanish, and if he wins a 7th title at the Paris Masters, there will be very minimal chance of Carlos catching up with him. Currently, it seems like the 24-time Grand Slam champion will once again end the year ranked No. 1.
