The 24-time Grand Slam champion, Novak Djokovic is in Perth to represent his nation at the United Cup. Before the tournament commences, the teams have some time with themselves before they step on the court with the other teams.

Team Serbia was seen having some fun with each other in the little time they had before the United Cup began. The World No.1 was sitting and playing a fun game with teammate, Olga Danilovic as she had headphones connected to her ears while Novak Djokovic tried to convey a word to her with her ears covered with noise from the headphones attached. The word to be conveyed to her was ‘Opera’ and to help her guess the word, the reigning US Open champion tried to imitate an opera singer and attempted to hilariously sing high notes before giving up as Olga was still not able to get the word.

Even after trying so hard to raise his voice and sing at a high pitch like an opera singer, Olga Danilovic failed to guess the word. It was a hilarious incident seeing the 7 time Wimbledon champion sing in a humorous manner and the two teammates had quite a laugh over it.

Novak Djokovic is in Perth to play at the United Cup before he flies to Melbourne to play at his favourite Grand Slam of the year, the Australian Open where he has enjoyed the most success in his professional tennis career. He is all set to play in yet another potentially promising season after having an incredible year on tour winning three out of four Grand Slams.

The World No. 1 is all set to make his debut at the United Cup where he will represent his nation, Serbia in a team event in Perth, Australia.

He will be accompanied by players like Olga Danilovic, Hamad Medjedovic, Natalija Stevanovic, Nikola Cacic, and Dejana Radanovic. Team Serbia will first play against China in the opening rounds of the United Cup.

This tournament will pose as a preparatory one for the major Slam, the Australian Open. Apart from winning his 24th Slam this year, he also won a record breaking 7th ATP Finals title and ended the year on the top of the rankings for the 8th time in his career. The fire within is still alive as he has stated that he is still hungry for titles and will definitely be a force to reckon with in the upcoming 2024 season.
