Wilander emphasizes that Djokovic’s meticulous fitness regimen makes him an exceptionally tough opponent to defeat on any court. When asked about Djokovic’s chances in the upcoming Wimbledon and US Open, Wilander expressed confidence, stating that he sees no reason why Djokovic shouldn’t be able to claim 28, 29, or even 30 Grand Slam titles.

He added, “He’s the favorite for the Australian Open because he’s won it 10 times, he’s the defending champion at next year’s French Open. I don’t see a sign that tells me that he is slowing down, I see a lot of signs telling me that he is getting better.”

Wilander holds the belief that Djokovic, who presently has 23 Grand Slam titles, has the potential to reach close to 30 Slam victories. Wilander’s assessment is based on Djokovic’s ability to compete against younger talents like Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz, showcasing his remarkable talent even at this stage of his career.

Novak Djokovic has displayed exceptional form in the Wimbledon Championships so far, effortlessly defeating all of his opponents and showcasing his dominant gameplay from the first round against Pedro Cachin to the recent clash with seventh seed Andrey Rublev. However, his upcoming challenge in the semi-finals against Italian standout Jannik Sinner is expected to provide a much tougher test for the Serbian star.

Meanwhile, tournament top seed Carlos Alcaraz has also demonstrated impressive performance, reaching the quarterfinals. His upcoming match against Holger Rune poses a significant challenge, and it is a match that Novak Djokovic will undoubtedly be keeping an eye on.

Djokovic has only dropped two sets throughout the competition, while his upcoming opponent Jannik Sinner is also in excellent form. The clash between Djokovic and Sinner will test whether the Serbian’s experience can match the speed and energy of the young Italian.

Sinner’s skills and abilities make him one of the most formidable opponents Djokovic will face in the tournament, setting the stage for an exciting and potentially challenging match.
