The 2023 season finale, the ATP Finals, is finally here, and players are preparing themselves for the showdown. Every one of the eight players playing at the 2023 Nitto ATP Finals has duly arrived in the Italian state of Turin.
World No. 1 Novak Djokovic, who will come into the competition as the defending champion, expressed his views regarding the tournament’s importance.
The Serbian has been in red-hot form this season, giving his counterparts and opponents no chance to get the better of him this year. He is buzzing with confidence ahead of the competition and feels that a win here will make it a fantastic year in terms of personal glory.
Every match is worth a final. Here are the best players of the season, they all deserved to be here. There will be no easy matches and I had no preference on which opponents to face in the group since every match is worth a final. The conditions here are slightly different than in other tournaments.Novak Djokovic said via Ubitennis

Novak Djokovic’s performance at the ATP Finals so far
Novak Djokovic has played in the ATP Finals for 15 season, making him the third-highest player to qualify for the competition. He made his debut in the competition way back in 2007, and since then, he has only failed once in 2017 to qualify for the tournament. He won his first ATP Finals title in 2008, beating Nikolay Davydenko in Shanghai.
After that, he went on to make it four out of four consecutive years from 2012 to 2015 and won his sixth title last year at Turin, beating Casper Ruud in the final. He holds a great record at the competition with 46 wins and 17 losses and is also targeting his seventh title this year to go past Roger Federer in the most number of ATP Finals titles.
