Following his sensational win in the final of the 2023 ATP Finals, Novak Djokovic is now very close to earning $200 million in total prize money won throughout his career. The Serb will be the first to achieve this outstanding milestone, just like many other records, and approximately twenty million short of the target.
Djokovic has won a total of $180,643,353 in prize money throughout his career and is way ahead of the second player on this list, Rafael Nadal, who has earned $134,640,719. Roger Federer is third on this list. Thanks to his $4,411,500 payday after winning the 2023 ATP Finals, the Serb is very close to the massive milestone.
In 2023, Djokovic earned a total of $15.9 million in prizes. This goes to say that he must have at least one more similarly successful season in order to reach the milestone of $200 million in total prizes. In the list of highest earners (based on prize money) of 2023, Carlos Alcaraz was second after Djokovic. The youngster earned $10.7 million throughout the year.
The Serb had a very memorable and successful season in 2023. He kicked off the season by winning the Adelaide International 1 and the 2023 Australian Open. He went on to win three Grand Slam titles in 2023, including the Australian Open, French Open and the US Open.
