Novak Djokovic, the 35-year-old Serbian tennis professional is widely regarded as one of the greatest tennis players of all time. With 21 grand slam titles to his name, Djokovic has etched his name among the all-time greats of the sport. The Serb recently expanded his title collection following an amazing win in the Tel Aviv Open final.

Novak Djokovic recently captured the headlines as he hinted at his retirement after seeing Roger Federer’s farewell at the Laver Cup. The Serb has demolished those rumors as after the Tel Aviv Open, he clarified his position regarding retirement.

He said, “I’m not close to retirement, I don’t want to think too much about it. Roger had a beautiful send-off at the Laver Cup in London. We were all there, with his family, to say goodbye to him at a magnificent event in a magnificent arena. It must have been special for him and there is no doubt that he deserved it. One thing I know is that I will definitely want my great rivals to come and say goodbye to me.

Novak Djokovic added yet another title to his name after he defeated Croatia’s Marin Cilic in the penultimate match of the tournament. There were a lot of controversies when Djokovic decided to take part in the Tel Aviv Open due to the Israel-Palestine conflict. After his title win, Djokovic made sure to thank the crowd for supporting him throughout the tournament. He talked to the Israeli media where he was thankful for the support he received.

He said, I played a lot of tennis this week, that’s what I wanted and why I came to Israel. I didn’t have time to go sightseeing to be honest, but I enjoyed the beach, I spent at least an hour there every day, I jogged, I rode my bike, I swam… I walked around the old town a bit and saw a bit of history.
