I think it would be nice, you know, for the sport to have at least one more match between Nadal and me. That's the biggest rivalry in terms of the amount of matches played that this sport ever had, so hopefully, hopefully, that can happen.

The intense quarterfinal match was won by the King of Clay Nadal 6-2,4-6,6-2,7-6(2) who eventually went on to beat Casper Ruud in straight sets and win another Grand Slam.

Djokovic may lead the H2H, but in the Grand Slam matches, the Spaniard is soaring high with 11 out of 18 wins. With his possible return next year, fans will be awaiting another showdown between the greats of tennis. Nadal has slumped down to the 664th rank and will try and end on a better note in the upcoming year which is also his farewell season.
