World No. 1 Novak Djokovic has been enjoying his vacation time lately. He has been involved in talk shows and has also been associated with interviews for many podcasts. With his highly awaited matchup against Carlos Alcaraz coming up on December 27 set to be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the 24-time Grand Slam winner was seen spending quality time in Dubai.

A video was uploaded on Twitter recently that saw Nole moving around on a beach in Dubai dressed in blue shorts and with a blue towel wrapped around himself. It was evident from the video that Djokovic had just got himself up from a nice swim at one of the pools as he was then approached by a small fan for a photograph.

It was Christmas Eve and for a Christian man like Djokovic to have been spending the auspicious occasion at a beach was a surprise for many netizens all over the globe. Those who have been following Djokovic for some time now know the fact that he has been celebrating Christmas on January 7 like the Orthodox Christians do.

Djokovic has generated quite a amount of interest from the Arabian countries in recent times. Saudi Arabia is currently looking to take over the sport of tennis and restructure the sport as they have been doing with golf, F1, and soccer lately. 

I think from that example we can probably learn to protect the integrity and tradition and history of this sport, but still be able to grow it in such way that it will be appropriate.

Nole also feels that Saudi Arabia has developed a new meaning for the sport of soccer after building a new foundation for it in the country. With lots of possibilities for tennis to also reach that level now, Djokovic feels that it is only a matter of time and some negotiations until the Arabian state finally announces its claim into the sport.
