Novak Djokovic’s on the way to his record-seventh title
Novak Djokovic started off his ATP Finals campaign in fine form, beating the young prospect Holger Rune in a three-set thriller. There were a few times of scare for Serbian when he lost his calm and coolness in the second set, also going on to break his racquet in frustration. But in the end, he got the job done, picking up a win in his first group-stage matchup.
He has been clubbed in the group along with players such as Jannik Sinner and Stefanos Tsitsipas. He will play Sinner on Wednesday, hoping to get two wins out of two. He has gotten the better of Sinner whenever he has played against him and will try to ease past the Italian hotshot, who is also coming off fresh from a win in his first game against Tsitsipas.
