Novak Djokovic touched down in Perth, Australia, one day after he locked horns with Carlos Alcaraz in an exhibition showdown at the 2023 Riyadh Tennis Cup. The much-awaited match witnessed the fall of Djokovic to the Spaniard in three tight sets with a concluding score of 4-6, 6-4, 6-4.
The Serb is scheduled to make a highly anticipated maiden appearance at the 2024 United Cup, a group event where he will represent his home country, Team Serbia. Subsequently, the 36-year-old was recently witnessed in a practice session merely hours after he arrived in the country.
Novak Djokovic is all set to perform at the United Cup for the first time alongside team members Olga Danilovic, Hamad Medjedovic, Natalija Stevanovic, Nikola Cacic, and Dejana Radanovic.
Their team will commence their campaign against Team China on December 31, 2023, followed by their face-off against Team Czech Republic on January 2, 2024.

The Serb concluded the 2023 season with a feather in his cap. Nole lifted the US Open crown, which helped him script history with the addition of a 24th Grand Slam title to his name.

Serbian tennis star Novak Djokovic is scheduled to begin his title defense at his favorite hunting ground, the Australian Open, and will be eyeing furthering his record-extending 10th Melbourne Slam title record and, with it, adding a 25th Grand Slam title to his belt.
In the hardcourt major’s 2023 edition, the 36-year-old overpowered Stefanos Tsitsipas in straight sets to register a win at the Rod Laver Arena. While talking to Eurosport in a recent interview, the Serb revealed his love for the tournament and hoped to extend his record at Melbourne Park.
