In the Tennis world, we all know Novak Djokovic is always on the list when it comes to the ‘GOAT’ (greatest of all time) topic alongside Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal. But have you ever wondered who are Novak’s ‘GOATs’ inside and outside the tennis world??
The Serbian revealed all of this in a funny interview with BBC SPORT settling the GOAT debate once and for all. One of them is footballer Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
He jokingly said the interviewer is putting him on the spot by asking him who is his GOAT in football. Novak said Zlatan is also his friend so he has to say his name. He continued by saying he can’t pick one between Pele, Diego Maradona, and both Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi

Fans are always eager to know what their favorite athlete’s off-court favorites are. Be it their favorite color, movies, or food. While being asked what Novak’s GOAT food is, the Serb said it’s fruits. Djokovic picked Mango and Strawberries out of all the fruits. The interviewer continued asking him his picks in films and without hesitating he was quick to answer ‘’Avatar number one’’
He was then asked about his favorite locations out of all the places he’s traveled he said, ‘’It would probably be Serbia and Montenegro’’.
When asked who his GOAT sportsperson is he named a few of them saying it’s hard to just pick one. He named Basketball players Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant, Boxer Muhammed Ali, Sprinter Usain Bolt, and fellow tennis player Serena Williams.
It’s always been a constant debate on what basis one chooses the GOAT. When asked about who his GOAT is in tennis, Djokovic asked on what criteria one picks and whether is it based on results and statistics or the impact of that player. The Serbian continued by saying, ‘’There are different factors that are in play but I think it’s good that there is a discussion and there is a debate’’.
The Serbian will be aiming for his 24th Grand Slam and his 8th Wimbledon. He won his 23rd one in Paris in Roland Garros.
