It was a heartwarming sight as the Serb rushed to the player box to hug his family, especially his daughter, after he shattered all records to become the first player in the Open Era to win 24 Grand Slam titles.
In a press conference at the Paris Masters, Djokovic explained the importance of fatherhood to him. He said:
And personally, as a father, I have learned that spending more time with children really, you know, grants you with incredible satisfaction and beautiful emotions and things that you carry for a long time that define fatherhood and parenthood in a way.
He further opened up, saying that he tries to spend as much quality time as possible with his children. It is impossible to dismiss the achievements Novak Djokovic has made in the sport. A top contender in the GOAT debate, he is one of the greatest players in history.
For the uninitiated, he currently holds the record for the most number of Grand Slam titles in men’s tennis, closely followed by Rafael Nadal with 22 Grand Slam titles. However, despite these groundbreaking achievements, the Serb has made it clear that he values the time he spends with his children the most.
Novak Djokovic admitted that he modeled his schedule so that he could spend more time with his family
The 36-year-old has made it clear that he values spending time with his family more than anything. By doing so, he revealed that this year he modeled his schedule in such a way that he could spend some quality time with his family. He noted:
And because I have been, I would say, modeling my schedule, so to say, this year to my liking where I want to play, and I haven't played many tournaments at all, I've got to spend more time with my family, and that was a beautiful thing.

As per the World No. 1 himself, although his schedule did not allow him to play at a lot of venues, he always prioritized spending more time with his family.
He also admitted that the rewards he got from the relationship were much more valuable than any other accomplishment. However, despite playing a limited number of matches, the Serb has managed to stay on top of the table.
