With a smile on his face, the 36-year-old tried his best to answer this question. He revealed that the sport has taught him how to handle and accept small losses. In tennis, one is often hit with a string of losses, but Djokovic said that the sport teaches one how to deal with these losses.

I think it (tennis) taught me to be accepting the small losses in life with, you know, figuratively speaking, with more optimism. And that also whatever happens, if you lose a tennis match, there's always another one coming around the corner,
said Djokovic via Indian Wells Press.

Furthermore, the World No.1 also said that even though tennis is a demanding sport, it also provides a lot of opportunities for the players to work on themselves. Even after 20 years in the sport, Djokovic also faces an occasional loss now and then, but that doesn’t stop him from working hard.

As of now, Djokovic started his campaign at the Indian Wells and won his first match on his return after five years. With a lot of matches to be played, he is aiming for a title on return.
