Novak Djokovic claimed a historic 10th Australian Open title last month, as he defeated Stefanos Tsitsipas in straight sets in the final. The Serbian dropped just one set throughout the tournament as he stamped his authority over his opponents. The 35-year-old was seen partying with an ex-Premier League star in a local restaurant in Belgrade just a couple of days ago.
Novak Djokovic was spotted with Savo Milosevic in Belgrade, who shared the Euro 2000 Golden Boot with the Netherlands forward Patrick Kluivert. The Serbian hung up his boots 15 years ago, as he also represented the English club Aston Villa in the late 90s. He scored more than 200 goals at the club level, playing across different leagues in Europe.
Novak Djokovic was accompanied by his parents, and he was seen having a great time with his friends and family. The Serb also grabbed the microphone to entertain the crowd, and was seen interacting with the fans. The 22-time Grand Slam champion will be on the road once again next week, as he returns to action at the Dubai Tennis Championships.
Novak Djokovic to return to action in Dubai after memorable victory in Melbourne

Novak Djokovic was emotional after claiming his 10th Australian Open title last month. After all the confusion that unfolded last year, the Serbian was pleased to reign supreme at the Rod Laver Arena once again.
“Only the team and the family knows what we have been through in the last four or five weeks. I would say this is probably the biggest victory of my life, considering those circumstances. If I turn back the time two and a half weeks ago, I wasn’t really liking my chance in this tournament with the way I felt with my leg. Then it was just a matter of survival of every single match, trying to take it to the next round,” said Djokovic after winning the 2023 Australian Open.
Novak Djokovic reclaimed his world number-one ranking from Carlos Alcaraz after his Australian Open triumph. The 22-time Grand Slam champion will look to carry forward his unbeaten start to the season, as he returns to action at the Dubai Open next week. The 35-year-old enters the tournament as the favorite, backed by his prior success at the event. He last claimed the title in 2020, defeating Stefanos Tsitsipas in the final in straight sets.
