Djokovic faced flak for building the courts in just 6 months at Banja Luka. The opening ceremony of the facility happened 4 days back on April 13th. Apparently, the facility was burdened with irregularities during construction and also had some criminal charges over the bidding process.

There were also questions regarding the permits for the space. Since the tournament is organized by the Djokovic family, there were some amount of criticism that they faced.
