Apart from his Wimbledon final loss, he has not been caught by any single tennis star this season. After winning his seventh Paris Masters title this Sunday, he gave his impression on what it feels about breaking records.

Djokovic talked about how is targeting all the records that are left to be broken. It was evident from his voice that Djokovic wants to register himself as the sole holder of all possible records in tennis. He said,

I'm going for all possible records, all that I can break. I've never had a problem saying that. And that's why people don't like me.

Many fans felt that by saying this, the Serb must have taken a dig at longtime rival Rafael Nadal. A few months ago, Nadal talked about being unbothered by Djokovic passing him in terms of Grand Slam titles.

Nadal said,

I have said it when I was the one who won the most Slams, I said it when we were tied. I say it now that I am behind. I am not going to be the one who tries, through a personal struggle, to want to be what I am not. What is, is. And what is not, is not. I say this, I am very satisfied with everything I have done.

The Spanish, however, also lamented praise on Djokovic as he described Nole ‘as best’ in history. Based on number of titles, Djokovic is already the greatest in Nadal’s books.
