One thing that tennis fans know very well by now is that Novak Djokovic does not shy away from expressing himself transparently on the court.
He might be a gentle and kind person off the court but when he is playing a match, the Serb has his heart on his sleeve and often gets extremely aggressive and passionate. His interaction with fans in the crowd is particularly interesting.

Novak Djokovic is not one to be booed by the crowd and remain silent about it. He often mocks the crowd back and keeps the match extremely hyped up and entertaining.
A similar instance took place in the match between the Serb and Alexei Popyrin in the second round of the Australian Open, when he was heckled by a person from the crowd. Djokovic called him out and challenged him to come down to the court and say things to his face.
The Serb did something like that once again in his Round 4 match against Adrian Mannarino. Djokovic won the first two sets of the match 6-0, 6-0 and it was on the verge of getting a triple bagel.
Thus, when Mannarino won his first game of the match in the third set, the crowd cheered for him. A fan pointed out on X (formerly Twitter) that Novak Djokovic complained to the crowd when they applauded for Mannarino and was booed in return. He then started to conduct the crowd as they booed against him.
The World No. 1 ended up winning the match 6-0, 6-0, 6-3 pretty convincingly in straight sets. This was by far his best victory in the tournament so far and it will boost his confidence going forward.
Fans react to Novak Djokovic conducting the crowd while getting booed
Tennis fans are already divided in their opinions about Novak Djokovic’s aggressive and passionate nature on the court. Thus, when incidents like this take place, the conversations on the internet are often very interesting. This time, it was no different.

Many fans started criticizing the Serb for his behavior. However, many fans pointed out that this is a fake narrative that is being pushed by the haters of Novak Djokovic and said that he reacted this way when the fans booed him after he received a serve clock violation.
He was offended by the crowd cheering against him when he got the serve clock violation warning. That’s like clapping for a double fault. Making noises during a ball toss, heckling, booing - all classless. Just admit you simply don’t like Djokovic and for other reasons and you see what you want to see.A particular user wrote.
