Novak Djokovic claimed his 24th Major title last Sunday at the Flushing Meadows. He defeated World No. 3 and 2021 US Open champ, Daniil Medvedev in a thrilling encounter. With his 4th US Open title, Djokovic broke several records and set many new ones. Toni Nadal, who is the former coach of tennis professional, Rafael Nadal recently revealed that the Serb’s win would hit Nadal hard.

The 36-year-old reached his 47th Grand Slam semi-finals at the US Open recently, breaking Rafael Nadal’s previously held record of 46 semi-finals at the Majors. With his latest win, Djokovic also became the oldest man ever to win a US Open title. This record was previously held by Ken Rosewell, who won the championship at 35 years of age.

And, obviously, this makes things very difficult, not only for my nephew but also for any player who, in the present or in the future, would like to imitate him,” the uncle of the 22 times Grand Slam winner added further.
