Novak Djokovic’s biographer reveals the flabbergasting reason behind Marian Vajda’s split with the World number 1
Marian Vajda and Novak Djokovic
Novak Djokovic, the top tennis player in the world, ended his relationship with long-time coach Marian Vajda last November. The news was only released on March 1, however, it was noted that the agreement to end the collaboration was made during the ATP finals in Turin.
In view of this, Djokovic’s biographer and author of the book “Novak Djokovic – Life in War,” Austrian Daniel Muksch, spoke about some details about the Serb’s life in an interview. He went on to explain why Djokovic’s contract with coach Marijan Vajda was terminated.
“I know one of the reasons why they broke up”- Daniel Muksch
In the interview, Daniel Muksch talked about Novak’s life, his ups and downs, and the bond between Vajda and Djokovic in particular. Last year, Danijel Mikš stated that there is a possibility that Djokovic will be vaccinated. “It was great excitement when I said on Servus TV that Djokovic is considering vaccination. Then a move was started on Twitter by Djokovic’s fans. They wrote that Novak would never do that. Two weeks later, an interview with the BBC followed, in which Djokovic stated that he would not be vaccinated and that he was ready to give up the tournament. After that, everyone wrote again “look, it was total shit” – but it didn’t.”
He then went on to say that he knows “one of the reasons” why the tennis player’s collaboration with Marjan Vajda had come to an end. “I know that was one of the reasons why Marijan Vajda broke up. This was hotly debated and Wajda looked at the issue of vaccination differently. He strongly advised him to get vaccinated.”
Novak Djokovic to sweat it out on the other clay-court tournaments
Monte Carlo might have been a fantastic tournament for Novak Djokovic, as it sets the tone for his hopes of winning the French Open. However, he will have to rely on other clay-court competitions after falling to Alejandro Davidovich Fokina in the second round. His next competition, which will take place on April 18th in Serbia, is now in the works.
Because the Covid laws and regulations vary from country to country, it’s unknown where he’ll play next after the home event in Belgrade. However, it’s evident that he’s not getting enough match practise right now. His anti-vaccine position, meanwhile, may prevent him from competing in any more tournaments during the clay-court season.
