“Fight the demons that I have,” Novak Djokovic’s candid exchange about mental prep before a match is bound to shock tennis fans
The tennis veteran, Novak Djokovic, opens up about his mental preparations before the games.

Novak Djokovic is one of the most successful players in the history of the sport of tennis. Not just in the hard courts of Australia, but all over the world, the Serb has been dominant.
It’s not just about the records for Djokovic, but the way he approaches the game and his attitude speak tons about his love for the game.
Even after playing for more than 17 years, the Serb plays with the same level of intensity and motivation.
In an interview with the AO Presser, the 24-time Grand Slam title winner was asked about his mental preparations before the game. To which the Serb referred to how he fights his inner demons before the matches.
I'm trying to fight the demons that I have, as anybody else, on the court. Sometimes it works better, sometimes not so great. You just have to accept the circumstances, depending on how you feel against a certain opponent on a given day.The Serb said.
As per World No. 1 himself, sometimes a player has to accept the circumstances even when they are starting the match day with a doubt in their head.
Sometimes you just wake up not feeling great, and you start to doubt that you can win a match or play well. Those are some of the things you have to deal with mentally during the match.Continuing further, he added
The defending champion, Novak Djokovic continues his run in the Australian Open
The defending champion produced a superb performance in the third round to advance to the next round. He was up against Argentina’s Tomas Martin Etcheverry on Friday.
The Serb beat him in three straight sets to register his 92nd win in the Australian Open.
On Sunday, he will be up against Adrian Mannarino in the fourth round of the tournament. The Frenchman has been in good form recently. The 35-year-old came back superbly in his last match against Ben Shelton when he was down going into the fourth set.
