20-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic will start yet another campaign in a Grand Slam event when he takes the court at the All-England Club for the 2022 Wimbledon Championships. The Serbian will be the 3-time defending champion at this year’s Championships and despite dropping to World No. 3 and making an exit from the Top-2 for the first time since 2018, he will be the top seed yet again.

With the ban on Russian and Belarusian players, World No. 1 Daniil Medvedev will have to sit out at the Grand Slam vacating the spot for the top seed. Ideally, it would have gone to newly appointed World No. 2 Alexander Zverev but the German’s foot injury suffered in the semi-finals of the 2022 French Open will keep him out for a long spell, paving the way for Novak to be the top seed in his bid for 4th consecutive Wimbledon title and 21st career Grand Slam title.

With the entire field donning the whites for the Wimbledon Championships, Novak, like every year will follow the same and apart from the green crocodile of Lacoste, a thin green line will be seen below the shoulder white a collared T-shirt, identical to last year’s design. The shorts also don’t have any design other than the Lacoste crocodile designed at the bottom of the shorts on Novak’s left leg.

Complimenting the green and white colour, Novak’s shoes by Asics will also have a similar colour combination with a small design on the sides of the shoes. His socks and wrist bands are also plain white with only the green crocodile of Lacoste designed at the centre in what has been a minimal look, something very common at the All-England Club.
