The online feud between Nick Kyrgios and Boris Becker is reaching new heights every day. Nick Kyrgios delivered a low blow to the former coach of Novak Djokovic in a number of his latest tweets, where he talked about Boris Becker’s prison time.
A fan had compared the two players, pointing out that the Australian player never won a Grand Slam, following which he took a shot at Boris Becker once again.
It all started a few days ago when Nick Kyrgios named Boris Becker in a particular interview as an example to explain how players from the older generation were much slower than the players from the current generation.
He also said that players like Novak Djokovic would completely destroy players like Boris Becker in their prime. To this, Boris Becker replied that the Australian player talks a lot and pointed out the fact that he has not won any major singles awards.
Boris Becker then gave an interview where he said that had it not been for the old players, the current players would not have had a platform to make a living and earn so much money from the sport as they made it famous. To this, Kyrgios replied that he has brought many new fans to the game through the stuff he does off the court.
