The tennis player further vowed that a part of her prize money would go to Palestinians affected by the war. She also made it clear that it is only based on humanitarian causes and has no political agenda.

Ons Jabeur set to face Iga Swiatek in the group stage of the WTA Finals

This leaves the Pole to be the only player Jabeur has yet to play against in the group stages. Swiatek, on the other hand, has been successful in all of her group stage matches. The former World No. 1 made it to the semi-final at last year’s edition of the tournament. However, this has been her highest finish as the season approaches.

The duo has played each other six times before this encounter. However, it has been Swiatek who has won four of these matches. Jabeur will have to play her best game if she hopes to close the lead between them in the head-to-head statistic.
