Ons Jabeur, the tennis star, recently concluded her campaign in Qatar after a first-round loss. However, she did not leave empty-handed as the Palestinian National Football team gifted the 29-year-old a few gifts during their encounter in Doha.

Jabeur is one of the most open-minded tennis players, who has taken sides in political matters without hesitation. She has also sided with Palestine in the ongoing war and has also preached for the state. Showing gratitude for her efforts, the Palestinian National Football team met with the Tunisian and showered her with their love and gratitude.

This was not the first time she had received so much love in Qatar. A few days ago, another video was released, where a ballgirl expressed her love for the Tunisian who also hopes to become like her one day. Unfortunately, Jabeur lost another tournament at an early stage.

Ons Jabeur is in a bit of a slump as 2024 hasn’t been great for the Tunisian pride

With 2024 came a new season of tennis. Many players had come back with hopes to do well and start the year on a positive note. One of them being Ons Jabeur.

Unfortunately, the Tunisian seems to have lost her momentum, as she failed to cross the second round at the Australian Open, losing to a teenager, Mirra Andreeva. Following Melbourne, Jabeur played in the Abu Dhabi Open, to do better, but it was another repeat, as she lost in the second round.

The forgetful year could not get any worse for the former World No.2, who lost in the first round of the Qatar Open. She lost to Lesia Tsurenko in straight sets to end another tournament with no luck. Nothing seemed to work for the Tunisian, who was seen pouring emotions on the court.

On the road to the French Open, Jabeur has to gain some momentum and try to be consistent throughout the year to maintain her ranking. Nonetheless, the Tunisian is deeply loved for her contributions to the world and her efforts for the betterment of certain countries.
