The video has been shared by a number of fans over the different platforms in social media. It is not so common to see the crowd chanting birthday songs to a player on the court itself. But the Tunisian player has won enough hearts already, as she got a unique feeling of love from the stands.

The Tunisian 29-year-old has been consistently performing well in the Grand Slam tournaments, but she is still trying to crack the final puzzle. She has reached three Grand Slam finals in her career so far. In all three of them, she ended up on the losing end. In the last Grand Slam tournament, Wimbledon, she was expected to win her first Slam title against a comparatively lesser opponent Marketa Vondrousova, but the Czech played some brilliant grass court game to win her first Major title. The final score in the final was 6-4, 6-4.

Jabeur is also the runner-up of the US Open 2022. In last year’s finals here, she lost to the Polish World No.1 Iga Swiatek. The final score was 6-2, 7-6 (7-5). The Tunisian will face the unseeded Czech player Linda Noskova in the second round here. She has a losing record of 0-1 against Noskova, so Jabeur will be trying to be better prepared this time.

According to the projected path, Jabeur will be facing Aryna Sabalenka in the quarter-finals followed by a semi-final match-up with Jessica Pegula. Though Jabeur will be trying to take one step at a time, Sabalenka will be her first real test here if the projected draw becomes valid.
