Ons Jabeur’s World Food Program initiative sees her as a Global Goodwill Ambassador, adds to the Tunisian WTA player’s 2024 accolades

Another step forward for Tunisia as their star player, Ons Jabeur, continues to extend her collaborations with many more helpful organizations.
Recently, the Tunisian was appointed as the Global Goodwill Ambassador for the World Food Program initiative. As one of the most outspoken women on tour who is actively present to help people, the WFP recognized the talent she had to offer and appointed her as an ambassador.
In this role, the Tunisian will have to advocate for equal food between communities to try and end hunger. By directly addressing the root cause of hunger, Jabeur would play a vital role in fighting hunger for good.
Excited to welcome the tennis star onboard, WFP Executive Director Cindy McCain saw the burning passion inside the Tunisian to create a positive change in the world.

Ons Jabeur was equally proud to join the initiative and admitted to being eager to use her platform to try and contribute to the WFP. She will play an important role in the fundraising campaigns and spread awareness of the importance of nutrition to the world, especially children.
WFP is one of the largest humanitarian organizations that work actively to save lives in emergencies, and they welcome a tennis star to expand their reach and help as many as possible.
Ons Jabeur returns to tennis after humiliating first-round exit at the Australian Open
Tunisian pro-Ons Jabeur continues to make headlines for her partnership work. After an exciting deal as the ambassador for Saudi Arabia, she joined forces with the WFP to help the world become hunger-free.
Recently, the Tunisian introduced the world to her new fitness brand from Saudi, Kayanee. Already starting her duties as an ambassador, the 29-year-old switched brands and represented them during her Australian Open Tour.
Jabeur made her way back onto the tour after a devastating loss at the 2024 Australian Open. She lost in the second round to the teenager Mirra Andreeva in straight sets, 0-6, 2-6.
Returning, she entered the Abu Dhabi Open as the No. 2 seed and will play her first matches against the former US Open winner Emma Raducanu, who is one of the returning sensations of 2024.
