‘Our country is so f***ed up’ Mardy Fish and Patrick McEnroe condemn the ‘bone-chilling’ Texas school shooting incident

In one of the darkest days in contemporary American history, as many as 19 children were killed in a school by a teenage shooter. An 18-year-old kid named Salvador Ramos open fired in the Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas killing 21 people- 19 children and 2 adults and injuring 15 children.

This was the deadliest case of a school shooting in the USA in the last decade and the deadliest in Texas history. While minor details of the incident are yet to come out, there is widespread anger among civilians throughout the country. People are attacking and questioning the government’s credibility and policies while politicians are blaming the laws made by the opposition.

In all, the whole situation is a big mess with no one taking accountability for the incident. Like others, tennis players have also reacted to this horrific situation and have expressed their condolences to the murdered kids.

Former American tennis player Mardy Fish wrote about the incident and expressed how sick he felt after hearing about the shootings. He said that he drops his kids off at school almost daily and never in his wildest dreams would he think that that would be the last time he saw them.

“I drop my kids off at school almost daily. Never in my wildest dreams would I think that would be the last time I saw them. These are our kids man. Our KIDS! I’m sick,” he wrote.

Patrick McEnroe too expressed his disappointment with the USA and wrote what a f***ed up country they live in. “Our country is so fucked up,” he wrote.
