In the world of tennis, controversies are no stranger. Usually, players are caught in between controversies about the smallest of things. After Stefanos Tsitsipas’ early exit from the US Open, he parted ways with his coach, Mark Philippoussis. The coach revealed that there was no bad blood between them, and it was part of the contract for his tenure to end.

Pam Shriver, the former American tennis player, had a few things to say in this matter. That’s not all; Pam Shrivers even mentioned Stefanos going public with his romantic relationship with tennis professional Paula Badosa.

“ A lot of turbulence. A lot of on- and off-court social media posts. A lot of stuff about the coaching situation, dating. They’ve had like this in-and-out. So, I think if I was Philippoussis, if I was asked to go back a third time, I’d have to say, No,” said Pam in an Inside In Podcast. Both the interviewer and Pam sympathize with the sudden dismissal of Mark Philippoussis.
