Coco Gauff won her first major title at the US Open 2023. She defeated Aryna Sabalenka in the finals and won the trophy at just 19 years of age. The teen was looking so dominant and mature since the start of the tournament and also during the finals. For someone so young this kind of maturity and toughness is indeed commendable.

She proved everyone who questioned her greatness wrong at the Flushing Meadows. Post the match she also mentioned that before the finals she was looking at some of the social media comments where people had mentioned that the American would lose in the finals.

Reading these kinds of messages gave her the much-needed strength and motivation to go out there and destroy everyone who questioned her. In the on-court interview she also jokingly said, “I know your usernames” referring to all those comments on social media.
