And breaking the rackets and making a motion with a lot of power can help take the stress away. Or it can mean a situation when I feel under pressure, and I need to recruit anger to fight this away from my body, and I bring anger.

Mouratoglou said,

They are huge competitors. They are in matches, and they need to win. They know that it's going to help them when they're in trouble. The players know that the crowd is going to go mad against them and, in a way, subconsciously, that's what they want. They want to be hated so that they can raise the level of their game. Players who are focused on only winning and winning always do what consciously or subconsciously they feel is the right thing to do to win.

The fans and some of the critics have hated this concept of breaking rackets. However, it’s a normal phenomenon for any athlete to express their frustration to lose. The Australian star, Nick Kyrgios, too, has been vocal when asked about his opinion regarding his incident of breaking rackets.
