Patrick Mouratoglou’s Academy denies all the rumors of ending their partnership with Stefanos Tsitsipas

The world No.3, Stefanos Tsitsipas continues to partner with Patrick Mouratoglou‘s academy despite his result at the Australian Open. Rumors spread across the tennis world that he the Greek player will be ending his relations with the academy and moving on. However, the academy confirms that all these rumors are false and baseless.
Stefanos reached the second Grand Slam final of his career and is in very good form. He has been training in Patrick’s academy since his junior days in 2015 and will continue to do so. Often Patrick was seen in the boxes of Stefanos during his matches and supported him. They both maintain a good bond for a long time and apparently there is no rift going on between the two.
Amidst all the rumors, the academy confirmed Express Sport and said “situation has not changed” with the 24-year-old and their bond is still “intact”. Stefanos trains at the Mouratoglou academy in Nice, France in exchange for his image to be used to advertise the facilities and academy. These rumors spread in the first place when Stefanos included Mark Philippoussis to his coaching camp.
Patrick had coached Serena Williams for ten years until before she announced her retirement. Later he started coaching Simona Halep, who is currently on a break from tennis due to her nose surgery. Patrick also continues to coach Holger Rune along with Simona Halep in the meanwhile.

Stefanos Tsitsipas looks confident for the season ahead

After a fantastic start to the year 2023, Stefanos Tsitsipas is brimming with confidence. He is all set to participate at the Rotterdam ATP 500 next week as the top seed. With Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal struggling with injuries, he fancies his chances at the upcoming Grand Slam tournaments. Tsitsipas’ team is made up of his dad Apostolos, Thomas Enqvist and now Philippoussis joined his team at the beginning of the Australian Open.
In the Major that saw many upsets of the top seeds including Rafael Nadal and Casper Ruud, the 24-year-old kept his nerve and reached the finals. However, he faced a similar fate in the finals as his first finals against Nole. The Serbian was on another level even with a hamstring injury that couldn’t slow him down. Fans will be looking closely at Stefanos’ season.
