Paula Badosa and Stefanos Tsitsipas are undoubtedly the power couple of the tennis world right now. Their budding relationship is loved by fans across the world and although many are of the opinion that it is having a negative impact on their individual careers, the players are incredibly happy with each other and look very cute together. 

Paula Badosa was recently asked about her opinion of her boyfriend as a tennis player, and she had the perfect response to the question. According to her, Stefanos Tsitsipas has the potential to become the World’s No. 1, but he has yet to reach his peak performance.

“Before I even met him I loved how he played, his charisma on court. He’s a fighter, and he has variety in his game. He is a potential number one, easily. He is one of the best players in the world, but I think he hasn’t reached his limit yet. He has so much inside him and for sure we will see much more in the future. That’s why I really want to support him, because I think there are no limits to his potential,” said the Spanish international. (H/T: ClayTenis)

Paula Badosa was initially supposed to appear in the 2023 US Open but pulled out at the end due to her injury. In fact, she announced that she will not be playing for the rest of the season for the same reason and will focus on her recovery, which, according to many, is a wise decision. Stefanos Tsitsipas, on the other hand, lost to Dominic Stricker in the second round to get eliminated from the competition.

Paula Badosa and Stefanos Tsitsipas were first spotted together in Madrid in December 2021. However, they officially announced that they were dating only in mid-June of 2023. Thus, their relationship is fairly new, and they are popularly known as ‘Tsitsidosa’.

However, given the fact that they have been totally open about their relationship on social media, they have been famously termed the ‘love birds’ of the tennis world. Besides all the love, however, they get a lot of hatred from the trolls as well, who are primarily concerned about the dropping forms of both players. The couple has so far been successful in ignoring all the trolls, though.
