Spanish tennis star Paula Badosa has been out of action for quite some time now and news is coming that she is finally ready to get back on the court for some action. The former World No. 2 last played at the Wimbledon Championships, bowing out of the competition disastrously in the second round due to injury looking to join the Spanish team for the upcoming Billie Jean King Cup.
The Billie Jean King Cup Finals is taking place on November 7 and is set to be held at the La Cartuja Stadium. Badosa will join the likes of Sara Sorribes, Rebeka Masarova, Cristina Bucsa, and Marina Bassols, hoping to help Spain win their sixth title. Badosa gave her insight into her comeback and how her recovery process has been.

On account of the back injury she suffered at the Wimbledon Championships, Badosa said,
It has been a very long injury and a very complicated process, but finally I no longer have pain, which is the important thing. Playing the qualifying round in Spain motivated me a lot. I knew that perhaps there was going to be a not very fair, but I had this objective very clear.Badosa via Marca
Spain’s captain gives her views on Paula Badosa’s return
The Spanish MAPFRE Tennis Team captain Anabel Medina has been gathering top talents from Spain, trying to build up a stellar team capable enough to win the Tennis World Cup. After having got the services of the experienced Paula Badosa in her team ahead of the competition, she talked about how pivotal the 25-year-old can be for her side.

Medina backed Badosa, who is coming off from a long break and a huge injury for the upcoming matches,
Everyone knows the level that Paula has. She is a great player. This year she has been able to compete very little due to the back injury, but it is true that if she is in good shape she is an important player on the team.
