A few weeks ago, a video of Paula Badosa went viral on the internet. The video showed Badosa giving a side eye to Apostolos Tsitsipas, the father of Stefanos Tsitsipas, during his match with Andy Murray at Wimbledon. Fans from around the world gave a lot of reactions and speculated that the Spanish probably do not like her boyfriend’s father. But recently, Badosa has cleared the air.
Going live with Stef on Instagram, Badosa claimed that the look was unintentionally and unknowingly done by her. She was thinking something and did not realize that she was looking at Stef’s dad in that way. She said that she loves his father and that everyone in the Badosa and Tsitsipas families is fond of each other, to which Stef interrupted and said, “In the ‘tsitsidosa’ family“.
That video and the speculations regarding it were backed by another video that was going viral before that. In that video, Apostolos was seen kissing Badosa on the cheeks, with the latter looking rather uncomfortable by it. It happened after Stef won his first-round match at Wimbledon against Dominic Thiem.
However, amid all the rumors making the rounds on the internet, Badosa has cleared up the misunderstanding during her Instagram live with her boyfriend on a yacht. She first thanked the person for asking her this question, as she wanted to clear her doubts. Stef added in conclusion, saying, “They (the fans) are always going to track every single move of yours.“

The ‘hot’ tennis couple are on a vacation in Greece
Paula Badosa and Stefanos Tsitsipas have been spending some quality time with each other after their disqualification from Wimbledon. Earlier, the couple had been in Spain. They also attended the Harry Styles ‘Love on Tour concert. Now the couple has seemed to extend their vacations and is enjoying their time in Greece.
They have been posting their pictures on a joint Instagram account named ‘tsitsidosa’. They were also joined by Stef’s younger brother Petros, and Badosa posted a picture with the brother with the caption, “What can get better than one Tsitsipas? Having two.“
Badosa left Wimbledon in the second round due to a back injury. She retired mid-match against Marta Kostyuk. Stef, on the other hand, came very close to making his Wimbledon quarterfinal debut but was ousted by Christopher Eubanks in a very thrilling 5-set match.
