Spanish tennis star Paula Badosa has not quite been able to make full use of this season considering her constant fight with several injuries. The injuries kept her out of tournaments for most of the year, with fans going mad to watch her perform.
However, recently, Badosa opened up about the excessive hate comments towards her romantic relationship with tennis player Stefanos Tsitsipas and how fans have been constantly blaming him for her poor form. She has been quite public about her relationship with her boyfriend Stefanos Tsitsipas, posting pictures and videos of their moments on social media.
Surprisingly, fans have not been taking that very sweetly, with many thinking that the relationship has been hindering her performance. Badosa has recently come out to talk about this issue that has hurt her very badly.
The Spanish tennis star talked about how much Tsitsipas had been standing as a guiding force beside her throughout her injury and been supporting her everlessly. She feels that people should value their personal lives and should not do anything that can impact one’s feelings.
Sometimes people are not able to understand how this can affect you, or a relationship. I can understand being public figures and being exposed, but at the end of the day we’re two 25-year-olds and it’s all tricky because it’s an innocent relationship.

That’s not all; as per the tennis professional herself, such negative comments can have an extensive negative impact on their relationship. Continuing further, she added:
We met and this happened, and for people who say things, it’s very serious, because they’re ruining the career of someone who spent their whole life dedicated to what he did. I don’t think it’s very human.
Paula Badosa shares how much Stefanos Tsitsipas has helped her through her fight with injuries:
Paula Badosa recently talked about the injury that she suffered in the second-round matchup of the Wimbledon Championships and how depressing and demotivating it has been. Badosa said:
It hurt me a lot, because with the whole injury thing, I was able to devote a lot of time to helping him.
That injury kept her out of action for the next three months, with Tsitsipas playing a pivotal role in helping her get her confidence back through support and love.
Badosa added,
We both love tennis and he is also a hard worker, we are very similar in the goals we set for ourselves. We talk a lot about tennis and help each other. As you can see, I went to the court to support him or to the gym to accompany him, always respecting the schedules and people of his team; he also supported me a lot during my injury.
With that being said, it seems like Tsitsipas has been extremely supportive during the recovery days.
