Love and tennis can mix beautifully to pull out the best of both the player’s capabilities. One such couple is Paula Badosa and Stefanos Tsitsipas. Both of them are renowned tennis players who have achieved good ranks individually and hope to do so in doubles as well. Ahead of the Davis Cup, Paula Badosa shares a pic of her wearing her Davis Cup jacket.
The love story between the two players started back in June. They supported each other through different tournaments and also shared glimpses of their relationship on social media. In such a post by X/OnlyTsitsidosa, Paula was seen showing off her “new Davis Cup” jacket on 15th September. The jacket is a white jacket with stripes along the arm and in the left corner, there is a flag of Greece which represents Tsitsipas’s country. Paula was also seen pointing at the flag with her finger and fans noticed her nail painted like the flag of Greece.
This post has been met with positivity from the fans. They are heartily welcoming Badosa and congratulating the duo. The Davis Cup is all set to start and Stefanos Tsitsipas will be hoping to win the cup for his country.
Stefanos Tsitsipas joins his Greece team in the Davis Cup
Tennis players usually represent their country alone in a tournament, but the Davis Cup is a tournament where players led by a captain try to win the cup for their country. Stefanos Tsitsipas joins his Greece team which comprises other players including his brother Petros Tsitsipas and captain Apostolos Tsitsipas. Greece plays Slovakia on the 16th and 17th of September. This is the start of the Davis Cup and promises to get better along the way.
Fans have always supported the relationship of Stefanos Tsitsipas and Paula Badosa. They do receive some hate but nothing is greater than the love they have for each other. Both the players mention their partner in post-match interviews and leave the audience in love with them. Paula was out of the US Open due to some small injury but did support her partner for his US Open reign and will always continue to do so. Her wearing the jersey is another way of supporting her partner and what’s more delightful than celebrating love alongside a cherished sport? A tennis court that’s also a court of love, perhaps?
