Tennis couples Paula Badosa and Stefanos Tsitsipas were seen practicing together ahead of the latter’s Qatar Open. The tournament has already been underway since Sunday.
The former World No. 2 Spaniard is coming back from a spine injury and has not been in the best of momentum ever since. She was eliminated in the third round of the Australian Open and the second round of the Hua Hin Championships.
She beat USA’s Ashlyn Krueger in the first round of the Qatar Open. And ahead of her match in the second round against Leylah Annie Fernandez, she was seen polishing off her volleys and ground shots with her boyfriend Tsitsipas. The couple was seen in high spirits and confidence and were really appreciative of each other’s performances during the intense training session.
They were accompanied by their respective teams. This was not the first time when the couple had been practicing together. Prior to this, during the Mallorca Championships, the couple took the field together. They were inspected by the Greek player’s father and coach Apostolos. With an intense training session from a world-class player like Tsitsipas, Badosa will feel confident of going into the match on Tuesday.
