Spanish professional, Paula Badosa, was recently spotted supporting her boyfriend Stefanos Tsitsipas. The Greek secured his spot in the quarter-finals at the Mexican Open.
Tsitsipas is one of the top 5 seeds in Acapulco, as he maintains that position and wins matches in great fashion. After a first-round victory against Roman Safiullin, the Greek carried that momentum to the second round as he fought till the last point to close out the game.
He has been in some good form this year, and why won’t he be, especially with lots of love and support from his girlfriend, Paula Badosa? The Spaniard was recently caught watching her boyfriend’s game on her phone as she posted a story after his win. Captioned “Vamos”, Badosa is delighted by his boyfriend’s victory and re-entry into the top 10.
Fresh off a semi-final run at the Los Cabos Open, the Greek maintains his form in Apaculpo as well. On the contrary, his girlfriend is back on the sidelines after a horrific injury scare in her first Dubai Tennis Championships first round. Despite dealing with her injuries, the Spaniard took time out to watch her boyfriend play tennis, speaking volumes about their relationship.
Paula Badosa continues to cheer on her boyfriend Stefanos Tsitsipas despite her own injury concerns
Badosa is one of the returning players who made her way back on the court after a year on the sidelines. Despite her good display of tennis, the 26-year-old has not been fully fit, facing many struggles in between.
After the Australian Open, Badosa had to give a walkover during her second-round match in the Hua Hin Championships, withdrawing from the Abu Dhabi Open as well. However, the Spaniard was back for the Qatar Open, where she lost in the second round, before facing a huge injury scare in the first round of the Dubai Tennis Internationals.
Teary-eyed, Badosa walked out of the court and was on the sidelines again. However, the Spaniard promised to be back soon.
