Nick Kyrgios and Stefanos Tsitsipas will be back on the tennis courts. However, This time they will be on the same side as they pair up for a doubles match. The duo will take on the team of Hubert Hurkacz and Dominic Stricker in the second semi-final of the ongoing exhibition tournament, the 20222 Diriyah Cup in Saudi Arabia.

Kyrgios and Tsitsipas have had a history of altercations with their latest one happening in Wimbledon this year. Up against each other in the 3rd round of the Grand Slam, Kyrgios went on to win the 4-set match that had a lot of drama. In between the match, Kyrgios called Tsitsipas at default after he smacked a ball in the crowd hitting a few spectators while the Greek made multiple attempts to hit Kyrgios on the body.

After the match was finished, Tsitsipas went on to say that Kyrgois would have bullied kids in high school as he continues to bully the opponents on the court. Kyrgios was also accused of manipulating and distracting Tsitsipas during the match by the Greek No. 1.

Kyrgios did not take the comments lightly. He also fired back by saying that Tsitsipas should learn to beat him rather than make these excuses. Recently, even Tsitsipas’ mother called out Kyrgios saying her son would have won the match at Wimbledon instead of the Australian who played ‘dirty tennis‘.

But it seems the two players have forgotten their differences as they have decided to team up for the event in Saudi Arabia. Taking to Twitter, Kyrgios said, “Doubles with tsitsi tonight,” while Tsitsipas replied to the tweet saying, “Who would have thought.”
