Czech tennis player Petra Kvitova recently expressed her admiration for Spanish tennis sensation Carlos Alcaraz. During an interview with Flash Score, Kvitova praised Alcaraz’s exceptional tennis skills and playing style. She also highlighted the importance of players like Alcaraz following in the footsteps of tennis greats, such as Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal.

While discussing her favorite ATP player, Petra Kvitova mentioned her admiration for Carlos Alcaraz. She was particularly impressed by his agile movement on the court and his ability to return shots. Kvitova was also quick to note Alcaraz’s exceptional volleying skills and his willingness to come to the net, something most modern players lack. She believes that Alcaraz has it in him to emulate the success of legends such as Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal.

The Czech sensation said, “I like Carlos a lot. He’s playing great, how he moves, the things he returns and in what a way! It’s beautiful, he can serve, volley, the game he’s showing is great.” She further continued on the Spaniard’s path, “I’m glad someone like him will follow the footsteps of Roger and Rafa.”

His game has impressed not only Kvitova but also many other tennis legends. John McEnroe, Boris Becker, and Mats Wilander have all expressed their admiration for the young Spaniard. McEnroe stated that Alcaraz is the best 20-year-old he has ever seen in tennis. Becker praised Alcaraz’s punch and topspin. He remarked that Alcaraz is well on his way to winning multiple Grand Slam titles in the future.

He has already secured five titles, including the title at Queen’s Club Championships.
