Long-time rivals Rafael Nadal and Andy Murray were seen in a joint practice session before the all-exciting Brisbane International. The Spaniard returned to this tournament after being out due to an injury.
There were many comments and trolls during this practice session, but one comment from the former American tennis player, Mardy Fish, stole the spotlight.
The 42-year-old player has six names to his name and has played both of these greats back in the day. However, in his recent comment, he hilariously points out the fact that both players are balding. He said that they had a lot more hair the last time they met.

With a win/loss record of 302/219, the former tennis player faced the Spaniard on eight different occasions, managing to win only one match, which was back in the 2011 Cincinnati quarterfinals.
He also faced Murray the same number of times but has a better record of four wins. After his first victory over the Brit back in 2005, Fish managed three straight victories in 2010 to add to his tally.
Andy Murray and Rafael Nadal’s unfortunate starts to 2024
The two very experienced players, Rafael Nadal and Andy Murray who have dominated the sport in their days are falling short of their game against the current generation.
British pro Andy Murray lost his first match of the year against Grigor Dimitrov 6-4, 5-7, 2, 6 at the Brisbane International. However, his long-term rival also did not have much luck at his doubles match, as Nadal also lost his returning match against the formidable Australian duo of Max Purcell and Jordan Thompson.
The Spaniard still has time to make his comeback count as he gears up to play his first match after injury. The 37-year-old faces Dominic Thiem, a familiar face whom he has faced multiple times over the years.
After months of hard work put into the practice, the Spaniard will walk onto the court with millions of judging eyes on him. His practice mates have given positive feedback, but the real test will be against his first opponent.
With Brisbane International as the tournament before the Australian Open, the 22-time Grand Slam title champion will look to head into the tournament with a competitive nature.
