Rafael Nadal’s next tournament uncertain after Monte Carlo withdrawal

Despite Rafael Nadal‘s efforts in his off-court endeavors, he has been lacking competitive time on the court. The Spanish star has only featured in one tournament this season and has withdrawn from three, which has cast doubts on when he will compete again.

After reaching the quarterfinals of the Brisbane International, Nadal withdrew from the Australian Open citing an injury scare. He was in the United States of America before he withdrew from the Indian Wells Masters a month ago. Continuing this streak, a few days ago, he confirmed he was not going to feature at the Monte Carlo Masters either, which started on April 7.

With the troubling uncertainty from the 22-Grand Slam champion, he looks set to missing the French Open as well, which he has won a record 14 times.
