Spanish pro Rafael Nadal recently praised his compatriot Carlos Alcaraz ahead of their exhibition match at the Netflix Slam. This clash has generated a lot of buzz in the tennis world, as Nadal only adds to the excitement by praising Alcaraz.

Ahead of their matchup, the two Spaniards were having an interview with Marca. Acknowledging his understanding of Alcaraz, Nadal understands the completeness of the young Spaniard, who possesses all the qualities needed by a youngster.

Carlos has a youth that gives you a lot of things, and that's the most important thing. He has an energy, a passion, and a self-confidence that helps you face the important moments with little fear.

Ever since he turned pro, Alcaraz has been a player to watch out for. Rising through the ranks quickly, Alcaraz has grown to be the No. 1 in tennis and even challenged Novak Djokovic multiple times. He has created history as a youngster, and Nadal calls him a special player for that. 

The two play each other for the fourth time in their careers. While Nadal won two matches against the youngster, Alcaraz has a recent win to his name. 

Furthermore, this event is a practice for the Indian Wells, where both the players are supposed to play. The release of the draw has not been announced, as the fans await the list of players who will play against each other.
