The Indian Wells, also known as the fifth slam of tennis, is one of the most prestigious masters tournaments, where all the players come to play the tournament. No wonder the fans gather in large crowds in one of the biggest tennis stadiums.
Making his appearance at this tournament is Rafael Nadal, who has been sidelined due to an injury. As videos of him training circulate the internet, the fans are getting more excited waiting for the Spaniard to return. A new video featured Nadal hitting a couple of his iconic forehands, as he seemed in good touch, a week before his return.

While the Spaniard was given a few moving forehands, he hit most of them with extreme power and precision, hinting at his possible regain of strength, entering into the tournament. The 22-time Grand Slam champion made headlines for the Indian Wells alongside other ATP stars.
Fans are also starting to gather in large crowds to witness the Spaniard back in action. The clay courts of the tennis season are about to commence after the Indian Wells and the Miami Open, as the players gear up for a couple of months of sliding on the court.
Rafael Nadal gets an evening match on the day he returns back to tennis for a second time
Nadal had been sidelined for over a year due to an injury and recently attempted a return in Brisbane. Amidst the heat, the Spaniard got a micro-tear, keeping him out of the Australian Open.

After that, Nadal hasn’t participated in any tournament, as he gears up for a return to Indian Wells. As a past champion. Nadal still gets the evening matches. There have been many controversies about the timings, and just as easily Nadal gets the spot.
He will be playing on the 7th of March in the evening session. With other players also in the lineup, the fans get more excited for a couple of weeks for one of the prestigious titles. Nadal is very much in the mix of the probable winners despite his lack of court time. Having arrived early in the USA, the Spaniard has been on training duty as he aims for a comeback to remember.
